To ring in the new year, chef Heena Patel of beloved Gujarati restaurant Besharam welcomes James Beard nominated chefs C-Y Chia and Shane Stanbridge of Lion Dance Cafe for a special New Year's Eve collaboration dinner. The entirely vegan three-course family-style menu features celebrated dishes of Lion Dance Cafe and Besharam including samosas, rendang, a chutney & sambal sampler, saffron nasi kuning, trevti dal and more. To complement, cocktails and an optional wine pairing are curated by Besharam co-owner/beverage director Paresh Patel. DJ Sami (Spellbound DJ) will be spinning a range of Bollywood pop, Southeast Asian, Chinese + Euro tunes, 90's classics dance songs and more throughout the evening, alongside an NYE countdown and a bubbly champagne toast at midnight to kick off 2025. Both 7pm and 9:30pm seatings include a glass of Drappier Brut champagne and all reservations can be made on Resy.
