Bernal Heights Outdoor Cinema offers free screenings and live music in parks and venues around “The Hill,” September 6-8 and October 2, 2018. The annual end-of-summer film festival is known for its screenings in commercial spaces and on the grassy slopes of city-owned neighborhood mini-parks, playgrounds and open spaces. This year, the festival presents a four-night series at four separate sites throughout Bernal Heights.
This year is a big one! As Bernal Heights Outdoor Cinema celebrates its 15th anniversary, talented filmmakers are coming from all over to explore the diverse voices and interests that have made both Bernal and San Francisco unique. Once again, following a long-held tradition, BHOC has invited the entire neighborhood to help “put on a show.” It’s a time to toast one another -- filmmakers, neighbors and friends -- for the artistry that lives in the neighborhood and in the city.
