Bergerac in San Francisco Celebrating Their Third Anniversary With a Tiki Take Over
Bergerac in San Francisco's SOMA neighborhood is celebrating their third anniversary on Thursday, October 20 from 6:00 to 10:00 p.m. with a tiki take over. The party will include $3.00 drink specials such as Fernet, Old Forestor and Red Stripe, $33.00 punch bowls and dancing to DJ-spun tunes. Formal tiki attire is encouraged.
The intriguing Bergerac libations menu, curated by Tammy Hagans, showcases an array of classic, contemporary and house-designed cocktails, plus three on tap. There are also select wines, plus craft beers. A signature Bergerac treat is bourbon from the barrel they custom-ordered, plus the "punch bowl" options. Happy Hour, Tuesday through Saturday from 5:00 to 7:30 p.m., affords guests the opportunity to enjoy food and beverage specials. DJ entertainment is offered Wednesday through Saturday. The venue's bar-centric global comfort food menu is prepared by Will Pilgrim who marries classic French technique with seasonal, fresh ingredients to produce shareable plates such as Bon Mi Sliders and Korean BBQ Tacos. For dessert, diners can enjoy boozy ice cream treats and house-made Tcho chocolate chip cookies.
The engaging 75-seat Bergerac dining room (plus 13 seats at the bar) was designed by Josh Roland who was inspired by the Villa Nellcotte, a mansion in France's Bergerac region that came to some prominence when the Rolling Stones stayed there and recorded Exile on Main Street. Decor highlights include a gold and maroon color scheme, wood paneling and floors plus some colorful rugs, and living room style furnishings with bench and banquette seating as well.
Bergerac, located at 316 11th Street, between Folsom and Harrison Streets, in San Francisco, California, is open Tuesday through Thursday from 5:00 p.m. until midnight, Friday from 5:00 p.m. to 2:00 a.m., and on Saturday, 7:00 p.m. to 2:00 a.m. Neighborhood street parking is often an option.
