In our home, the kitchen is always filled with the scent of exotic spice, caramelized onions sautéed in ghee, freshly baked banana bread. In the morning, we make chai, from scratch. A sultry blend of ginger, lemongrass, cinnamon, nutmeg, saffron, and other spices, with black tea and whole milk, the kind with the cream on top. Our kitchen overflows with our smoothie concoctions, made with our favorite ingredients: ashwaganda, bacopa, maca, chaga, spirulina, to name a few. We delight in our homemade almond milk with dates and vanilla beans, freshly pulped juices, and herbal teas.
