This is the safest method of candle making for you and the environment! Beeswax is highly prized as a long-lasting, clean-burning wax. It is 100% natural produced by bees and requires next-to-no processing, making it much safer than chemical-ridden paraffin and genetically-modified soy. In this class, you can use natural yellow &/or white beeswax to make 2-4 candles (8 oz. of beeswax), using the silicone mold (e.g. flower, heart) &/or decorative containers of your choice (e.g. glass, ceramic). You'll learn how to choose the correct wick size & prime the wicks, and how to reuse the molds/containers as well, after burning your candles at home. During the class, we'll discuss how beeswax is made, interesting beeswax history and information, and the benefits of using beeswax over other waxes. Find out how amazing bees & their beeswax are! Along with your candles, take home a thorough, detailed instructional handout, including beeswax information, a wick-sizing chart, ingredients, materials/equipment, suppliers & decorating ideas. Everything is provided in the class, as well as some snacks, coffee & tea.
This class is available for up to 4 people & offered as a private class or on Thursdays, Fridays & Saturdays. Please visit my website for more information:
