Beer Mile World Classic: Curated Menu, Craft Beer Pairings, Lawn Games...and the World's Best Drinking Race!

We've been producing "underground" Beer Miles in San Francisco for over a decade. Our producers include one of the founders of the Beer Mile and the current world record holder. This is the first beer mile we're doing for the public. For many of you, it will be your first...and we wanted to make it a classic. At the end of the day, you can watch the Beer Mile of the Century, featuring the last 3 World Record Holders, including our own James Nielsen.
Schedule Overview (more details for each event below):
*note, we will be putting people into heats on Wednesday Aug 19. We may add more heats, if necessary.
1 PM: Festival Opens: lawn games (Giant Jenga, Giant Beer Pong, Cornhole...sitting and sipping beer) race-day registration begins, beer and food available
2:30 PM: Social Beer Mile (untimed, beers can be substituted for sit-ups, push-ups, burpees)
3:10 PM Chug and Run Team Competition (Two-person teams)
3:40 PM Competitive Beer Mile
4:00 PM Masters (40+ Men and Women and Clydesdales Men over 200lbs)
4:30 PM San Francisco Classic...Sub-Elite Field
International Ceremony Begins

BEER MILE MENU
We have curated a Beer Mile Menu we call CAN Francisco....Canadian Inspired food infused with SF Craft Brews. Our CAN FRANCISCO food ticket includes one of our specialty dishes, and a local craft beer:
1) Barrel Head Brewery White IPA: Pulled pork poutine - sweet and spicy pork braised for hours over crisp
French fries and topped beer cheese sauce
2) Anchor Steam: Fish and chips - thick juicy fresh Cod deep fried in a tasty Beer batter
Until golden and served with thick steak cut fries
3) BBQ chicken drums - large fresh Chicken legs grilled on open flame with a tasty
Mango and sweet chili sauce for an amazing BBQ treat
4) Headlands Brewery, Hill 88 Double Ipa: Grilled NY chili dogs - sweet n spicy New York chili over grilled snap dog
5) Buffalo mushrooms- (vegetarian ) jumbo mushroom stuffed with Gorgonzola cheese
and coated in seasoned panko for a crisp crunch. Topped with a buffalo sauce that will
be an incredible taste for vegetarians and non alike
6) Chocolate coated BACON - thick cut smoked bacon , baked crisp and coated in local bitter chocolate for the ultimate desert treat
7) Camino Brewery, Café con Leche: Jumbo S'mores - massive camp fired marshmallows coated in local bitter chocolate And set on crisp gram cracker cookie crumbles
