WHAT: San Francisco Brewing Co., an innovative craft brewery, bar, restaurant, and outdoor beer garden located at historic Ghirardelli Square, will celebrate the 11th annual SF Beer Week with an exciting lineup of beer-centric events.
On Friday, February 8, the brewery will host a Barrel Aged Beer & Bourbon Tasting to celebrate the release of Bourbon Barrel Aged Imperial Stout. Held in partnership with Venus Spirits, a Santa Cruz-based spirit distiller that specializes in organic small-batch whiskey, gin, aquavit and blue agave spirits, this event will allow attendees to learn about making barrel aged beer and whisky directly from Master Brewer, Justin Boehle and the Owner/Master Distiller of Venus Spirits, Sean Venus, who will go through the intricate process. Guests will also enjoy beer and bourbon tastings along with small bites provided by SF Brewing Co.
