Bear River Valley Beef, a Small Family Farm producing all-natural 100%, grass-fed beef, in northern California, is celebrating the Holiday Season with cooking demonstrations and free samples at Magnani’s Poultry in Berkeley.Owner and producer, Hugo Klopper, will be on hand to greet members of the community, provide tasty samples of their all-natural meats, and answer customer questions. Customers and locals can stop by to sample our grass-fed beef. This venue allows us, the small family farmer, to meet and greet many folks who have made the transition from conventionally produced beef to that of 100% grass fed and to offer up-to-date information to those who are interested in learning what the benefits of grass fed beef versus grain fed are. We will have handouts that layout the great Health Benefits that are important for consumers and their families.
Bear River Valley Beef honors the cattle’s natural diet (no grain or animal by-products) and follows ecologically sustainable, humane, and environmentally conscious ranching practices. This means that consumers get better-tasting, more succulent beef that contains the proper balance of Omega-3 and Omega-6 fatty acids (2 to1), vitamins A, D, and E, and conjugated linoleic acid (CLA), which is proven to prevent and effectively fight cancer.

Bear River Valley Beef is a third-generation, family-run business, located 15 miles south of Ferndale, California; it raises its cattle in verdant, nutrient-rich pastures and valleys near the Pacific Ocean. The animals graze on green grasses year round. Bear River Valley’s grass-fed cattle enjoy a stress-free existence and are treated humanely, which ensures calmer temperaments, stronger immune systems, and the highest quality gourmet beef.
