Beach Chalet Brewery & Restaurant to Host a Rombauer Vineyards Paired Wine Dinner
Beach Chalet Brewery & Restaurant in San Francisco will host a Rombauer Vineyards wine paired dinner on Tuesday, July 18 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM. Guests will be able to enjoy five courses, four of which will be paired with Rombauer wines curated by Head Chef David Hernandez. While affording views of the sun starting to set over the ocean, the evening will begin with an hors d'oeuvre of Bodega Bay Smoked Salmon with arugula, fennel, red onion, capers, whipped goat cheese, and sourdough paired with Rombauer Chardonnay, 2021 followed by a Crab and Shrimp Cake with fennel and citrus salad, and avocado saffron aïoli with Rombauer Chardonnay, 2022. Next up will be Saffron Paella with mussels, clams, shrimp, and Spanish chorizo with Rombauer Merlot, 2019 and then Braised Short Ribs with red wine sauce and green beans with a Rombauer Cabernet Sauvignon, 2019. Dessert will be a Chocolate Truffle Cake with dulce de leche filling and raspberry sauce.
Rombauer Vineyards set down roots in the Napa Valley in 1980 and is still family owned and guided by a passion for producing the finest wines each vintage offers.
For decades known for its contemporary and classic seafood-centric American fare, Beach Chalet is housed in an historic building now home to the Golden Gate Park Visitors' Center at the Western edge of the park fronting the ocean.
