“Be the Healing Workshop Series”
is a unique opportunity to experience hope and healing collectively, as a community of local service providers. This 3 day workshop series will be a space for deep healing and a soulful approach to developing emotional strength, intentional communication skills, time & energy management skills, as well as an opportunity to grow and learn with each other. It is designed to support, sustain, and re-fill the capacities of service providers to continue bringing love and care to communities in most need.
This is for professionals providing direct service to people in Bay Area schools, youth programs, family and community services, social workers, therapists, counselors, case managers, front line staff in trauma prone environments & communities. We encouraged you to attend!
Two workshops will be offered with an additional Vicarious Trauma Healing Hike locally on Saturday, September 29th at 10am. Led by transformative coach, Raynelle Rino of “Hike It Out Coaching.” , the series will close with a celebratory, joyous picnic at Hummingbird Farm, ending at 2pm.
Workshops will focus on specific tools to develop
(on September 21st)
"Self Awareness"; heightened consciousness in communication needs and techniques to establish a strong foundation with clients
(on September 28th)
"Trauma Recovery"; heightened self awareness while working with clients and gaining a deeper understanding of what is needed for trauma recovery when triggered
For Saturday, September 29th, (10am-2pm)
A Vicarious Trauma Healing Hike will offer a much needed time of rest, reflection, and release of the negative energy attachments associated with direct service to clients
AND
A Vicarious Joy Celebration and picnic will provide a space of freedom, expression, collective healing and will serve as a closing to this series
Workbooks, supplies, snacks and refreshments will be provided during each workshop.
FULL SERIES (9/21 & 9/28) participation is encouraged and partial participation will also be available.
Full Series participation includes a Healing Hike and Celebratory Picnic on Saturday, 9/29 at Hummingbird Farm. More information will be given upon registration.
Prices are as follows:
Early Bird: $55-$75 sliding scale (ends Sept. 1st)
General Admission: $85-$105 sliding scale
Partial Series (workshops only): $65 PER DAY
Webinar Participation (workshops only, includes downloadable workbook): $35 each

As Comm(UNITY), (CU) was initially created with the purpose to build community & have an opportunity to network within the wide and diverse field of social services. As the monthly community builders developed we became aware there was still critical missing pieces. We need intentional spaces for individual, collective health & wellness services for providers. CU also strives to connect with people who are already doing the work to minimize the duplication of services. CU teamed up with Rino Consulting Solutions to create intentional and thoughtful, one of a kind healing workshop series specifically designed with you/us in mind.
