**Bayside Aloha: Art & Culture Festival**
Quinn's Lighthouse, 1951 Embarcadero, Oakland, CA
Saturday, April 26th, 2025 | 1:00 PM - 6:00 PM
Free / Donation-Based | All Ages Welcome

Join us for Bayside Aloha, an outdoor celebration of art, culture, and community on the Oakland waterfront--held the weekend after Earth Day and rooted in Indigenous wisdom, creative freedom, and collective love.

This all-ages, donation-based event is a gathering for healing, resistance, and expression through art. We're creating a vibrant and safe space where people of all backgrounds can connect, explore, and celebrate what unites us: creativity, culture, and care for the Earth and each other.

**What to Expect:**

- **Live Mural Painting by David Flores (@publiczoogallery) & Friends**
Watch live mural work in action by featured artist Dos from Kaua'i, Hawai'i--known for bringing powerful, Earth-centered, and culturally rich visions to life--alongside guest artists from the Bay Area, California, Texas, Hawaii, and beyond.

- **Creative Vendors**
Tattoo artists, graffiti artists, abstract painters, and muralists
Permanent jewelry vendors and handmade artisan goods
Interactive installations and community-created pieces

- **Live DJs & Music**
Uplifting sets by local DJs bringing vibes from world beats to electronic, classics, R&B, rock, and more.

- **Cultural & Earth-Centered Offerings**
Art that centers Indigenous stories, resistance movements, and global unity
A space to reflect on Earth Day and our responsibility to the land and each other

**Why It's Donation-Based**
Bayside Aloha is free because we believe art, joy, and healing should be accessible to all. Donations are welcomed to support the artists, cover event costs, and help fund our community initiative with the Center for Farmworker Families--to replace a crashed truck for one of their workers who depends on it to collect donations for families in need.

- **Raffles & Giveaways**
Win art, jewelry, and gift bundles from our vendors and community sponsors--just for showing up and spreading the love.

**Rooted in Oakland, Inspired by Mother Nature**
Oakland is a city of resilience, revolution, and radical creativity. From the legacy of the Black Panther Party to today's community-driven art, music, and justice movements, Bayside Aloha honors the soul of the Town and the collective power of the Bay Area. This is a space for locals to showcase their gifts, build bridges, and celebrate our shared identity--diverse, bold, and unapologetically real.

**Local Voices, Global Impact**
We're lifting up artists and creators from all over--each bringing their own unique flavor, heritage, and story. The goal is to reflect the beauty of our community and spark new waves of connection and consciousness.

- **Free Parking + On-Site Security**
Free parking is available on the street and in the large lot across from the venue.
Dedicated security will be present to keep everyone safe and ensure a peaceful experience for all guests.

**Inclusive, Safe & Family-Friendly**
We stand in solidarity with Palestinians, Indigenous communities worldwide, LGBTQIA+ people, immigrants, workers, and all who use art as resistance. This is a safe space for every race, gender, identity, and ability.

Come as you are. Give what you can. Leave uplifted.
By the people. For the people.
