Bay Area Maîtres Cuisiniers de France Chefs Team Up For a Hurricane Harvey Benefit Dinner
Seven of the Bay Area's foremost French chefs, in association with the Maîtres Cuisiniers de France organization (http://mcf-usa.com/our-history/), are teaming up to serve on Sunday, September 24 beginning at 6:00 p.m. a $175.00 six-course wine-paired dinner with the proceeds to be donated to the Justin J. Watt Foundation (http://jjwfoundation.org/) to aid in Hurricane Harvey relief efforts. Tickets can be purchased by emailing to

The dinner will take place at San Francisco's Piperade Restaurant and the participating chefs will be Joel Guillon/previously at Left Bank Brasserie; Gerald Hirigoyen/Piperade; Claude Le-Tohic/Alexander's Steakhouse; Laurent Manrique/Blanc et Rouge, Café de la Presse, Aquitaine; Fabrice Marcon/Berkeley City Club; Roland Passot/La Folie, Left Bank Brasserie, LB Steak; and Xavier Salomon/The Ritz-Carlton, Half Moon Bay. The evening's Guest of Honor will be Sophie Lafitte from the French consulate in San Francisco and the emcee will be Liam Maycleam.
