Bay Area Film Mixer

SEE EVENT DETAILS
at PianoFight San Francisco (see times)

Dust off your business cards and bring your talented self to Piano Fight's hip downtown space for a night of mingling and networking with Bay Area filmmakers!
We're back at it again! Check back here as we update on all the fun things we'll have at this next one. We're excited to mix, mingle and network with our growing community of filmmakers again!
This is a business where those who connect are those who work, so come find out who's doing what around town and what projects are in the works -- the Bay Area is full of talented film professionals, so don't miss a chance to mix and mingle with them!
Founded by San Francisco filmmakers who believe you don’t have to go to LA to have a career in film, the Bay Area Film Mixer is focused on elevating careers through connections – and now in our fifth year, this next one is poised to set the stage for truly big things in the Bay.
More Info:

Why Extra Support? We are committed to making this event free. The fact still remains that putting on events like this take money. Currently we are putting this event on out of our own pockets. If you believe in what we are trying to do for the Bay Area filmmaking community, feel free to donate a bit towards the cause. All money raised goes right back into making this mixer great! Dress Code: We do not enforce any type of dress code. This is a professional networking event for film so come dressed decent enough for you to get hired by someone if that case presents itself. We're excited to see the growth of the mixer series and how it's helped filmmakers throughout the Bay collaborate and find work, and we're not done yet! We're working hard to create more opportunities for filmmakers here in the Bay, and here are a few ways we're improving our event:

ONLINE:
-- First off, our new website has launched: www.bayareafilmmixer.com Check this site out and see how you can become a part of the community. If you wanta chance for your work to be screened, if you want to volunteer, become a partner or even become a sponsor all that and more can be done from our new site.

-- Our facebook group has offically launched also! Come join our online community for updates, job postings, and other information from our community that may be vital to your success! https://www.facebook.com/groups/bayareafilmmixer/

OFFLINE: (At the mixer)
-- The Job Board -- this is where you can post jobs you are looking to fill for your projects. We'll supply note cards and a pen -- you write a brief description of the job and your contact info. Ideally, you'll leave your cell number -- that way they can text you right then and there, and you can find each other and discuss the position and the project in more depth.

-- A table for headshots and for business cards; the business card table will be divided by roles, so that you can better search through them for your needs

-- Vendors that provide vital resources for filmmakers are being brought in to help you with your projects.

And now, a little bit about PianoFight!
