BATS Improv, The Moth & The Stanford Storytelling Project

SEE EVENT DETAILS
BATS Improv welcomes guest storytellers to share true experiences and personal narratives that the Main Stage players can riff on to create original improv tales at Fort Mason Center for Arts & Culture. BATS Improv's The Gather features tale spinners from The Moth live storytelling programs and The Stanford University Storytelling Project.

The action takes the form of stories from all different time periods, genres, and suggestions. The storytellers from The Moth and The Stanford University Storytelling Project share true narratives based on their personal experiences. The BATS Main Stage players take it from there -- using the true stories as jumping-off points for improvised scenes based on themes, settings, and ideas from the new storytellers.
