On Friday, December 31, 2021, BATS Improv presents New Year's & A Movie. The in-person shows run from 8:00 p.m. to 9:45 p.m.
BATS recommends purchasing tickets online, but also offers in-person ticket sales between 7:00 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. on show nights.
Super Scene is a fast-paced, rip-roaring theater competition featuring five directors creating five unique, completely improvised stories, each with a unique tone or genre, But there's a catch -- stories unfold one scene at a time, round by round. After each round, the audience selects, with their applause, the stories that continue, and which story is eliminated. This process continues, and the scenes evolve, until the final round, where only one story remains and the top-rated Super Scene is performed.
For New Years & A Movie, BATS performs New Year's inspired scenes in the first half of the show, and an improvised New Year's "movie" in the second half.
