An evening of bold wines, unforgettable pairings, and just the right amount of indulgence.
We're debuting our new Estate Dinner series, a private, wine-driven dining experience hosted in our tasting room, with a one-night-only showcase led by acclaimed Chef Jose Mejia, formerly of Bouchon Bistro, the Pump Room, and The Meritage Resort & Spa. Known for soulful, refined cooking with a Napa sensibility, Chef Mejia creates dishes that let the wines take center stage.
o The evening opens with Steve Rogstad presenting a special barrel tasting of wines still in development--a rare opportunity to explore the craftsmanship behind each vintage.
o Guests will move on to a sparkling amuse--Day Boat Scallop Crudo with creamy Browkaw avocado, ruby grapefruit, and salmon roe--elevated by the crisp vibrancy of our 2021 Brut Rosé.
o A vibrant Heirloom Tomato Salad follows, layered with orchard stone fruit, cucumber, and fennel pollen vinaigrette, paired with the expressive 2021 Coeurtina Chardonnay.
o For the main course: Roasted Akaushi New York Strip with Maitake mushrooms and Sauce Chartreuse served alongside the structured and elegant 2019 Henry's Keep proprietary red.
o The evening concludes with Cypress Grove Humboldt Fog cheese over lemon Pain Perdu, garnished with candied hazelnuts and Russian River blackberry jam--paired with our 2019 Brandlin Cabernet Sauvignon.
