WHAT: Guest stars from American Ballet Theatre, New York City Ballet, San Francisco Ballet, Boston Ballet and more will join Ballet San Jose to kick off its 2013-2014 season with an all-star benefit gala at the San Jose Center for the Performing Arts to welcome new Artistic Director José Manuel Carreño and support Ballet San Jose. The evening will begin at 5:00 pm with cocktails and dinner followed by a performance at 8:00 pm and will conclude with a post-performance VIP party with the artists.
The complete gala performance lineup includes guest artists from American Ballet Theatre: Misty Copeland, Thomas Forster, Marcelo Gomes, Julie Kent and Gillian Murphy; from New York City Ballet: Joaquin De Luz, Megan Fairchild, Gonzalo Garcia, Maria Kowroski, Ask La Cour and Ana Sophia Scheller; from San Francisco Ballet: Taras Domitro and Maria Kochetkova; from Boston Ballet: Lorna Feijoo and Nelson Madrigal; and international artists Adiarys Almeida and Joseph Gatti.
