World Premiere! In the sunless Pittsburgh winter of 1996, two young women connect over a shared love for R&B but quickly discover something deeper. While attending a predominantly white college, these two Black students create their own bubble of self discovery, music, and sanctuary. The stress of first love, financial hardship, and future uncertainty threaten to destroy it.
Director Leigh Rondon-Davis is a staple in the Bay Area theatre scene working at Crowded Fire Theater, New Conservatory Theatre Center, Aurora, Theatre FIRST and West Edge Opera. Leigh works to amplify the voices of BIPOC and other historically underrepresented people. Rondon-Davis champions the voices of BIPOC and other historically underrepresented people.
The cast includes Tierra Allen, Sundiata Ayinde, Ciera Eis, Perry Fenton, and Tajianna Okechukwu.
