AXE & Friends: FIRST AXE MULTIGRAIN PANCAKE POP-UP EVENT IN
NORTHERN CALIFORNIA

AXE & Friends Pop-Up Event Promotes High Quality Ingredients and Materials for Daily Living

WHAT: The beloved AXE multigrain pancake, originally on the menu at the much-loved AXE restaurant on Abbot Kinney in Venice, has made its way to Northern California. Workshop is hosting AXE & Friends, the first AXE multigrain pancake pop-up event in the San Francisco Bay Area, after the restaurant was sold. AXE founder/owner Joanna Moore will introduce the pancake to a new Bay Area audience, by making samples to share and sell at the event. Loaded with multigrain goodness and the natural bounties of Northern California, AXE is using local ingredients, including grains from Central Milling, Jersey milk from St. Benoit, eggs from Farmer Joy's flock in Petaluma. Ingredients are free of pesticides, herbicides, chemical fertilizers, or growth hormones.

AXE & Friends pop-up event includes: BREAKAWAY MATCHA specializes in sourcing, custom blending, and distributing the highest-quality matcha and will join AXE pancakes with hot and cold matcha tastings and sale at the pop-up event.

STUDIOPATRO linen tea towels utilize the finest medium-weight linen available, and are naturally sustainable and luxurious. Founded by Christina Weber, the company's tea towel collection is handprinted one-by-one, using ecologically friendly water-based inks. Every detail of production is important to the company, right down to the ribbon ties on each tea towel package.

The pop-up event is hosted by W O R K S H O P , owner Susan Kim's sunny shop for thoughtfully designed, hand crafted clothing, shoes, and goods from near and far.
