Public Talk – Awakening the Heart: A New Perspective on Relationships
Friday, February 16, 7:00-8:30pm
with Gen Kelsang Rigpa,
Western US National Spiritual Director and Resident Teacher, KMC Hollywood
The practices of training the mind and the meditations presented within Buddhism are universally applicable and offer excellent methods for improving all of our relationships with family, friends, partners, work colleagues and beyond. Relationships can provide meaning and joy to our life, but they can also give rise to friction, insecurity, resentment and sadness. During this talk, we will explore the methods of Buddhist psychology and meditative practice for re-framing relationships, learning to cultivate positive and harmonious relationships that give purpose and happiness to our lives.
Public Talk: $20.
Bring-a-friend for half price. $30/admits 2.
