Autumn Rosa Mystica: Herbal Self-Care Day Retreat for Witches, Healers & Creatives

SEE EVENT DETAILS
Rosa Mystica is a delicious self-care retreat day in the East Bay Hills that brings the sweet magic and medicine of the plant world and interweaves it with movement, nature-attunement, sound-healing, meditation, and nourishing food.
This daylong deep dive is a devotional experience of tapping into the energy, wisdom, and healing of the earth and the energy, wisdom, and healing inherent in our own bodies and spirits, once we can find ourway through the daily noise and move towards silence and deep listening.
We'll focus on unearthing our own vitality, sensuality, joy, and purpose through a triple flame of sacred modalities: herbal medicine, sound healing, and meditation.

We live in a chaotic time, often lost in a flurry of social media, fake news, real news that's even worse, climate change, environmental toxins, and stress that upsets the delicate balance of our hormones, our emotions, and our ability to tap into our own intuitions.
It's a time that we're being called to open our hearts and pour our energies into being of service to our clients, our communities, and the global uprising of wisdom and change -- but all of our creative work, our magical work, and our visionary work must be rooted in simple, effective rituals of fierce self-love in order for them to be sustainable and for us to be guided to new solutions that don't replicate the same troubled waters we find ourselves in now.
Rooting into the magic and medicine of the plants, we'll nurture ourselves and attune to the wisdom of nature through ritual, meditation, chanting, and reinvigorating our energy, vitality, and sensuality through herbal medicine, essential oils, water magic, honey healing, and chanting.
Nature, too, supports our personal blossoming (if we have any quiet exposure to her) through her spontaneities, through her beauty, power, and mirroring, through her dazzling variety of species and habitats, and by way of the wind, Moon, Sun, stars, and galaxies.
? Bill Plotkin, Nature and the Human Soul: Cultivating Wholeness and Community in a Fragmented World

This daylong-retreat is all about living, leading, and doing business differently for the rest of the summer and throughout the fall-- in a way that is grounded in practices that leave us replenished rather than burned out, and that holistically includes our whole selves, the voices of our guides, and the abundance of the earth, rather than coming from our linear minds and scarcity thinking.
You'll walk away with an infused herbal honey that will nourish you heart and body, mind and spirit; a workbook about herbs for vitality, hormonal balance, renewed sexual health and transforming stuck patterns into new pathways for growth: renewed energy; and a sense of deep alignment with your purpose and your own inner well of strength and presence.
You do not have to be good.
You do not have to walk on your knees
For a hundred miles through the desert, repenting.
You only have to let the soft animal of your body
love what it loves.
-- Mary Oliver, "Wild Geese"

Rosa Mystica: Self-Care for Witches, Healers, and Creatives are seasonal day-long retreats founded on 4 essential elements of nourishment and healing:
1.) Mother Nature: We'll begin each day with a a witchy-as-fuck ritual to wake up your inner knowing, your ancestral memory, make a wild brew, and in-drink our knowing from a place of deep intentions for healing, the healing of our ancestors and descendants, and Mama Earth. Connecting to nature in this way, we potently remember that we are channels for our work in the world, bringing a deeper power and effectiveness to all we do.
2.) The Divine Feminine: we are in the midst of an upwelling of feminine consciousness and reclaiming the wisdom ways of sacred ceremony, herbal knowledge, magic, surrender and deep presence.
3.) The Wisdom of the Body: When we awaken the power we hold in our bones, our cells, and the spirals of our DNA, we are able to harness the energy and self-confidence that comes from being in tune with our true selves. We'll open up our stuck places and move out of resistance and old patterns, bringing in fresh vitality through gentle yoga, detoxifying herbal teas, and nourishing farm-to-table food.
4.) Soul-Care: When we attune to the care of our souls and spirits, we come into alignment with an inner-compass that allows us to move forward with clarity, generousity, inspiration and consistent momentum and motivation. Looking forward to circling with you! Please do contact us with any questions.
