Austrian Wine Seminar

For our next seminar, we are traveling to the lovely country of Austria!  Imbued with rich history and beautifully terraced vineyards on rolling green hills, it is an idyllic place producing a wide range of styles of wine. Navigating these wines and the Austrian classification system can be confusing at times, but we're here to help!  Our journey into Austria next week will feature 2 specific regions - the Wachau and the Kremstal, two of the most renowned wine growing areas in the north.   This exclusive seminar will be held in our SF downstairs tasting room next Tuesday August 21st from 6:00pm-7:30pm.  This will be a sit-down, seminar-style tasting as we welcome wine specialist Donny Sullivan, an expert on the region and our featured producers from The Source Imports.  We will be tasting Riesling and Gruner Veltliner from the Wezseli estate in the Kremstal, and top producers Tegernseerhof, Knoll and Veyder- Malberg from the Wachau.
