Happy Summer in San Francisco
Dancers from the Golden Age of the Chinatown Night Clubs came together because of doctor’s orders to take dance classes for exercise and to keep a healthier body. They are proud to say that they have raised over three million dollars for seniors, children and veterans. Performers now include retired teachers, an architect, professors and real estate investors. Their ages range from 70 to 82 . They have a robust schedule with performances at the Chinese American Museum in Chicago, being honored in Las Vegas for four straight years, Nevada City, Seattle, Houston, Honolulu and more. The Grant Avenue Follies have been featured on national television, and they are proud of being an inspiration to other seniors to stay active and to keep smiling.
RESERVATIONS AND PAYMENTS must be prepaid and postmarked on or before August 7. If you have any questions regarding seating or questions regarding payment, please call LInda Stoppoloni at 650-588-2372.
IMPORTANT NOTICE: Any cancellations, changes or additions after Tuesday at NOON, prior to the luncheon will NOT be honored as reservations are closed. NO EXCEPTIONS! Nor will any reimburse-ment of funds be made after that time. You must send in either a check or free lunch raffle prize certificate, even if your hostess knows you are attending.
RAFFLE: Members who have surnames beginning with Saa–Zzz are encouraged to contribute raffle prizes for the August luncheon. We will gladly accept raffle prizes from any member who wishes to contribute, however. Remember, it is the raffle that brings in the revenue which keeps our Club thriving.
