SF Rocky Horror (San Francisco's ONLY live stage production of the show) is holding auditions for all roles! (Note: Though auditions and performances are at Boxcar Theatre's venue, this is not a Boxcar production.)

Let’s do the Time Warp again! Richard O’Brien’s “The Rocky Horror Show” is the full stage rock musical that led to the (in)famous Mother-of-All-Cult-Films, “The Rocky Horror Picture Show.” In this sexy romp, our Sweet Transvestite, Dr. Frank N. Furter, and his not-so-merry gang of Transylvanians from Outer Space host two hapless suburbanites for a night after which “nothing will ever be the same.”
This is not the film and shadow cast experience. No screens, no lip syncing. Auditioners should be prepared to dance (and tap, if auditioning for Columbia). The show double casts Eddie/Dr. Scott and Usherette/Magenta. There will be four Phantoms cast.
Bring one audition rock song (full sheet music rather than lead sheet) and be ready for a cold reading. You may be asked to sing something from the show.
There is no nudity in The Rocky Horror Show, but cast members should be comfortable in skimpy clothing. Rocky should look like he works out regularly.
Show opens Wed, Oct 30 and then runs Thursdays through Fridays from Oct 31 - Dec 21. Stipends are offered for every role.
