Astronomy on Tap

Is San Francisco ready for an astrophysics collaboration event the likes of which haven’t been seen in billions of years? Astronomy on Tap San Francisco and Taste of Science San Francisco are combining forces for our biggest event yet! Come to DNA Lounge on Tuesday, April 24th for another night of talks from local scientists, Astronomy in the News, trivia and prizes. We’ll be hearing from Sanjoy Som about his astrobiology research, and Megan Shabram on the Kepler mission. We will also be hearing from UC Berkeley’s own Alex Fillippenko! Doors open at 7:00 pm, and the event starts at 7:30pm. Due to the anticipated scale of this new event, we will be selling tickets in advance on DNA Lounge's website for $5.
