The Association of Fundraising Professionals Golden Gate Chapter (AFP Golden Gate) is honoring the Bay Area's outstanding charitable supporters at its annual National Philanthropy Day luncheon on Friday, November 15. Those being honored this year include Jerry Yang, co-founder and former CEO of Yahoo!, and his wife, Akiko Yamazaki. Former U.S. Ambassador James Hormel and fundraising consultant Mal Warwick are also being recognized for their years of commitment to improving the world with a Lifetime Achievement Award.
The annual event recognizes individuals, benefactors and organizations as well as professional fundraisers for community-wide philanthropic efforts.
