Join KQED, Martin Luther King Library and The office of Mayor of San Jose to celebrate the contributions of Asian Americans immigrants to the fabric of the Bay Area. Watch film clips of the PBS Documentary series titled: Asian Americans, hear from local historians, and enjoy a performance from Cambodian Dance Group.

Event Details: Doors Open at 5:30PM Light snacks and refreshments served.

Asian Americans is a five-hour film series that will chronicle the contributions, and challenges of Asian Americans, the fastest-growing ethnic group in America. Personal histories and new academic research will cast a fresh lens on U.S. history and the role Asian Americans have played in it.
