On Saturday, Sept. 27, non-profit Asian American Futures (AAF) will bring the community together to celebrate its Feed it Forward campaign with a free, one-day pop-up in San Francisco spotlighting the vibrant food, culture, and entrepreneurial spirit of the Asian American community.
Guests will enjoy complimentary chef-crafted small bites by Sincere Justice, celebrated chef and co-founder of Tacos Sincero, whose menu draws inspiration from stories of Asian American history and culture in solidarity with others/united for change. Each bite is designed to be both social media worthy and conversation-starting, honoring Asian American stories through flavor.
The all-ages event also serves as the launchpad for the eatery crawl, running throughout October and featuring collaborations with beloved Bay Area eateries including Bake Sum which was named one of the New York Times Best Eateries, Tarts de Feybesse owned by 2025 James Beard Awards semifinalist nominee Chef Monique, Christine's which is The Infatuation San Francisco's Top 9 Pop-Up Bakeries and York Street Collective.
The event will feature sounds by DJ Proof and an interactive art installation that will allow attendees to share their personal stories and history.
Asian American Futures aims to bring awareness to the histories that shape the Asian American experience. By pairing these stories with innovative food experiences, the campaign makes cultural heritage tangible, shareable, and relevant.
