Join the Asia Society Northern California Young Professionals Group Leadership Council at Sequoia Sake on Thursday, November 1st to learn how sake is brewed at the Sequoia Sake Brewery!
Noriko (Founder) will speak to us about her belief in serving the freshest sake, brewed from Californian ingredients as part of the neo-localism movement. Sequoia Sake specializes in Junmai sake which is made using only use only water, rice, koji and yeast.
Our tour will include a tour of the brewery and we'll get to sample sake at the different stages of its brewing. We'll also get to sample a flight of Nama (unpasteurized, light and fruity), Genshu (full bodied, undiluted) and Nigori (ginjo + dai-ginjo, pasteurized).
