Join us for an ASAP Salon & “Adaptive Drinks”
Let’s mix things up! Instead of watching a lecture or making small talk at a bar, we want to give brilliant folks like you a chance to engage with one another in facilitated substantive conversations about the critical issues in our field. We will kick off at 5:30pm with mingling and happy hour refreshments and begin the salon at 6pm. Please plan to stay until 8:15 so you can dig in to in depth conversations with diverse peers at all stages of career and from all walks of the adaptation field.
Conversation themes may include urban planning, equity and inclusion, natural adaptation, finance and infrastructure and more.
Facilitators will include: Katharine Pan of Dyett & Bhatia, Laura Tam of SPUR, Hannah Doress of County of San Mateo and Word Out Consulting, Warner Chabot of SFEI, Mark Northcross of NHA Advisors, Vijay Kesavan of Metropolitan Transportation Commission and Emily Wasley of The Cadmus Group, among others.
Space is limited for this event and will be available on a first come, first served basis. Please RSVP as soon as you can to secure your space. If your plans change please release your space so a collegue may attend.
Since the enlightenment salons have been recognized as a catalyst for intellectual development and insights leading to significant social change and cultural advances*. To be successful our field/fields ultimately must drive paradigm shifts in the basic thinking, planning and functioning of our society. Spark and hone new ideas. Build and grow relationships. Gain inspiration, appreciation and support from your peers for the work ahead.
Our gratitude for the support of:
The American Society of Adaptation Professionals and ASAP Bay Area Hub Organizing Committee, SPUR, SFEI and ASAP members. Thank you for making this event possible.
