Founded in 1992 [as ARTwork Magazine], ARTworkSF is dedicated to helping emerging artists gain the confidence and exposure necessary to become successful "art businesses", enhancing the sales of established artists, and selling and renting original art in every media to individuals and businesses at affordable prices. Currently, ARTworkSF manages over 100 Bay Area artists in 23 venues with over 1000 works to rotate each month. The ARTworkSF portfolio includes both emerging artists and mature, established artists whose works are exhibited and collected globally.
In July 2006, ARTworkSF opened its gallery doors in the heart of Union Square! Located at 49 Geary, the new space provides ARTworkSF artists with a premiere venue to participate in group and solo shows and allows corporate clients access to over 200 artworks for rent or purchase on site. In addition to the main gallery floor there will also be a niche dedicated to to photography and works on paper.
