What is Breakthrough?
Breakthrough Silicon Valley (BSV) is a rigorous six-year academic enrichment program that provides a path to college for motivated but typically underserved middle and high school students. In addition, Breakthrough inspires outstanding college and high school students to pursue careers in education through hands-on teaching internships. A recent study shows that 96% of BSV students enroll in four-year colleges, and 78% of our former teacher interns enter careers in education.

Learn about the Breakthrough Program, get inspired by the

against our talented and motivated students by going head to head in an academic trivia competition. They are middle schoolers.
How hard can it be?
You might be surprised! Put together a team of 10 of your brainiest colleagues and friends and come ready to battle it out against other teams of the best and the brightest of Silicon Valley including Applied Materials and Tech CU. The team with the most points after the first two rounds will compete against a team of Breakthrough Students in the Championship Round.
