The Gypsy Cafe is turning over its bar to Cider Houses through the 2013 season. This month, Jan Lee of AppleGarden Farm in Tomales will be pouring her organic hard cider and talking about the apple-growing and cider-making process on her farm. "Our style of artisan cider is a still, dry, farmhouse variety with apple ‘notes’ which is very different from the commercial brands which tend to be sweet and fizzy.” This Cider Bar event is a free for the tasting. The cafe will offer appetizers along with glasses and bottles of cider for sale during the event and throughout the cafe's Friday Night dinner hours.
