CHSA is proud to host our 2nd annual Joice Alley Celebration to kick off APA Month. In collaboration with the annual Cameron Carnival, join us in the museum and the alley for an afternoon of exciting performances and presentations.
12-1pm: “Why Chinatowns Speak Cantonese” by Richard Lee. Main Gallery.
1-2pm: Chinese dumpling making with Dumpling King Leland Wong. CHSA Learning Center.
2-2:30pm: Dragon dance led by Corey Chan of Kei Lun Martial Arts. Joice Alley, Cameron House Yard.
3-4pm: Soul Line Dancing with Bob and Leslie Chan. Main Gallery.
3-3:30 pm Live Music by the Francis Wong Unit, featuring John-Carlos Perea, bass; Karen Stackpole, drums; Yangqin Zhao, yangqin; Francis Wong, saxophone. Cameron House Yard.
