Alameda Point is the place to be on Sunday, October 4, as this former naval air station hosts the Alameda Point Antiques Faire, Northern California’s largest antiques show and for the first time, an Antiques Faire After Party! The first Sunday of the month morning ritual for antiquers galore is now extended with an afternoon of fun. From hipsters to collectors, everyone is invited to stay and enjoy the afternoon festivities on the waterfront including a Lucky 13 beer and wine garden, tasty food trucks, DJ Tanoa Samoa Boy spinning vintage ‘45s from a tiki hut and stunning views of San Francisco. The Haunted Hornet zombies will be creeping around making special appearances as well. Delicious local eats from 3 Geeks, Kenny’s Heart and Soul and Tacos de Los Altos will satisfy the hungry crowds. The after party is free to attend and offers plenty of free parking. Make it a whole day of fun on the island by adding a visit to the adjacent Alameda Point Pumpkin Patch.
