The community is invited to join Peralta Colleges Foundation to attend its annual scholarship gala benefit. This annual inspirational evening pays tribute and celebrate amazing scholars and committed supporters of The Peralta Colleges - Berkeley City College, College of Alameda, Laney College and Merritt College.
This year's theme "Going to Bat for our Students, our Colleges and our Community," will give special recognition to the Oakland Athletics for their outstanding commitment to community colleges and student success. KTVU-2 Sports Anchor Mark Ibanez will serve as the evening's Master of Ceremonies.
We salute the Oakland Athletics for their belief in the vision that community colleges work toward. The Peralta Colleges are the mainstays of educational opportunity which transforms lives and builds the strong workforce our community deserves.
The cost of attendance for students is most times unmanageable. Community support is critical in meeting students' basic needs like school supplies, housing, childcare, food and transportation.
$100 - $25,000.
