Join us for the Angel Island Immigration Station Foundation's annual gala featuring surprise guests, exciting announcements, and a special performance from Skyler Chin's rap-rock musical "Illegal", inspired by Angel Island.
This year, we are transforming our gala into a completely virtual event, and we are making the virtual gala free to attend! With the theme of "Celebrating Our Dreams, Imagining Our Future", we pay tribute to the hopes and dreams of immigrants and their descendants. We also recognize this year's Immigrant Heritage Award honorees and the efforts of everyone who has worked towards the restoration of the former US Immigration Station Hospital (opening as the Angel Island Immigration Museum in Fall 2020).
Complimentary tickets are available, but those who would like to support AIISF by purchasing a ticket will also have the opportunity to participate in an in-person tour of the Angel Island Immigration Museum, including round-trip ferry tickets, tram service, lunch, and a guided tour. Tour dates are expected for Fall 2020 or Spring 2021 (dependent on public health guidelines and considerations).
