Join us at the brewery for the release of our first ever Barrel Aged Christmas Ale!
We aged our 2016 Christmas Ale in various whiskey and wine barrels for a year, and then tasted all of the individual barrels to select this very special blend. The result is a beautiful roasted masterpiece with whiskey, vanilla and sumptuous wintry spice notes layered on top of a rich malty base. We change our Christmas Ale recipe every year and always keep it a closely guarded secret. There are roasted malts and other grains as well as some select spices and hops chosen specifically for this recipe. The 2016 recipe produced a particularly delightful beer that aged quite well in the bottle, but even better in whiskey and wine barrels!
