The JCC East Bay and Citizen Film present An Evening of Sholem Aleichem on Thursday, May 5, 2016 at 7:30pm at the JCC East Bay, Berkeley Branch, commemorating the 100 year anniversary of the writer’s death, including theatrical readings and short films. Read aloud at this fun, community storytelling event that continues the long tradition of families and friends coming together to enjoy the writings of Sholem Aleichem, creator of “Tevya the Dairyman”—the story on which Fiddler on the Roof was based.
