Join us for an evening with prolific author Daniel Silva discussing his new book "House of Spies" in which the legendary art restorer Gabriel Allon is determined to hunt down the world's most dangerous terrorist, a shadowy ISIS mastermind known only as Saladin.

Compelling, passionate, haunting, brilliant: these words have been used to describe the work of award-winning #1 New York Times bestselling author Silva. He has been called his generation's finest writer of international intrigue and one of the greatest American spy novelists ever.

Silva burst onto the scene in 1997 with "The Unlikely Spy," a novel of love and deception set around the Allied invasion of France in World War II. Before writing the book, Silva was CNN's talk show unit Executive Producer, producing shows like Crossfire, Capital Gang and Reliable Sources.

In 1995 he secretly began work on "The Unlikely Spy" which was an instant bestseller. Silva left CNN in 1997 after the book's successful publication and began writing full time. Since then, all of his books have been New York Times and international bestsellers. They have been translated into over 30 languages and published around the world.

"'House of Spies' is more than just riveting entertainment; it is a dazzling tale of avarice and redemption, set against the backdrop of the great conflict of our times. And it will prove once again why Daniel Silva is quite simply the best." Kansas City Star

The evening will be moderated by Anne Elise Kornblut, a Pulitzer Prize-winning American journalist currently serving as director of strategic communications for Facebook. Kornblut previously served as the Deputy National Editor of the Washington Post, overseeing national politics, national security and health/science/environmental coverage. In 2014, she was awarded the Pulitzer Prize for Public Service as the lead editor overseeing coverage of Edward Snowden's NSA revelations.
