"An Enemy of the People" by Henrik Ibsen Adapted by Arthur Miller Directed by Michael R. Cohen Live Oak Theatre Fridays and Saturdays January 5th - January 27, 2018 at 8 p.m. Sunday Matinees January 14th and 21st at 2 p.m.
"An Enemy of the People", adapted by Arthur Miller, is Ibsen's great parable about the costs of the truth, featuring a town in denial of the environmental disaster at the center of their livelihood, the baths, and the idealist Doctor Stockmann who is determined to expose them for the health threat they pose, despite the costs to himself, his family, and his town.
Featuring: Ron Dritz, Nate Bogner, Pennell Chapin, Glenn Havlan, Ian Wilcox, Bruce Kaplan, Michael Callan, Lisa Wang, Ann Barnett, Paulette Herring, Elijah Benjamin Tiger Lajmer, Rachael Olliff Yang, Randy Solomon, Julie Ann Valdez, David Weiner, Matthew Weinberg, Clementine Leonard, Madison Shlader, and Charlotte Curtin.
Performances Fridays and Saturdays from January 5th to January 27th at 8 p.m. Sunday matinees January 14th and 21st at 2 p.m.
The play lasts approximately 2 hours including one intermission.
Post-show Gala on opening night - meet the cast and enjoy some delicous hors d'oeuvres.
