Located on the third floor of Metreon, the 15-screen Loews Theatres Metreon is San Francisco's largest movie theatre complex, a gorgeous movie palace with a panoramic view of the Yerba Buena Gardens Esplanade and the San Francisco skyline.

The IMAX Theatre at Metreon's first for San Francisco and the largest 3D screen in the world. Metreon's IMAX Theatre features both 2-D and 3-D capabilities and boasts a huge 80' x 100' screen, seating 600 people in its 2-D configuration and 480 people for the 3-D configuration.
