Alyssa Limperis

SEE EVENT DETAILS
Alyssa is an actress, writer and comedian in Los Angeles. You may recognize her from her hilarious mom videos which she writes, acts in and edits. The viral success of these videos has lead to glowing press coverage from the likes of Vulture, Decider, and Forbes. Recently, she starred in the indie horror/comedy feature, "Too Late" opposite Ron Lynch, Mary Lynn Rajskub, Brooks Wheelan, and Fred Armisen. The film is scheduled to be released in 2020. She wrote, edited and starred in the web series Business Casual (co-written with Gwynn Ballard). She has made character vids for Conde Nast's The Scene and Iris platforms. This past year, she made it to the final round of testing for SNL.

She has been featured on Vice, Glamour, Last Week Tonight with John Oliver, Iris, The Scene, MTV, and Lifetime.

On stage, she was on the NYC UCB Maude the house team "The Gift" as well as the sketch team All Female Reboot directed by Liz Magee. She has performed her solo show about losing her father to brain cancer at PVD Fringe, Cinderblock Festival, The Tank, The PIT and Improv Boston. Her play, Wak Up, co-writted with Shannon Odell, was a semi-finalist in the New York New Works Fesivial and ran at UCB to much acclaim. Her UCB podcast, Crazy; In Bed, co-hosted with May Wilkerson, is a comedic look at mental health where they invite comedians, journalists, artists, doctors and more to join them each week and help shine a light on the things people usually keep hidden.
