All in for Education: Casino & Club Night 2018

SEE EVENT DETAILS
Join No Reservations Giving and the San Francisco Education Fund for our annual Casino & Club Night!
Come for an evening of dancing, drinks, and casino games. You’ll also enjoy an open bar with appetizers and a live DJ. Whether you play a few games while you dance your heart out or go all in at the poker tournament, proceeds from the event benefit the Education Fund’s programs in San Francisco public schools.
Prizes are abundant! Win big at the poker tables or get your name in our multiple raffles. We’ll have a live DJ, photographer and more to keep you entertained through the night. The event will be held at the Merchants Exchange Club, a legendary venue in the heart of the Financial District.
Cocktail attire. All attendees must be 21+.

In 1982, Jack Strauss lost all of his chips in a bet during the final rounds of the World Series of Poker tournament play. As he got up to leave, he found he had left one chip beneath a napkin on the table. With that one chip, he went on to win the entire World Series. This change of fate gave way to the popular poker saying that all one needs to win the World Series is 'a chip and a chair.' Proceeds will be donated to the San Francisco Education Fund to help provide 'a chip and a chair' - a chance – for public school students to succeed.
This event is organized by the Education Fund’s Young Professionals Council, which is a group of 20 young professionals who are passionate about public education. Functioning like a junior board, the YPC promotes and advocates on behalf of the Education Fund through fundraising, volunteer initiatives and attracting new friends to the organization.
