You’ve worked so hard and now this year’s Aids Lifecycle is over. A bittersweet feeling, right? The team here at Sports Basement is here to help you pre, during, and post ride. Your body and bike have both been through a lot in the past few months during training and the actual ride itself. It’s time to treat yourself and treat your bike.
Your bike is headed back to Bryant street, so just sign up for a discounted Bike Tune HERE and we will work on your bike prior to you picking it up!
We are offering all ALC riders $20 off a Tune Up or Bike Fit if you book the weekend after the ride 06/11-06/18. As an extra service, we are offering the option of pre-registering for a tune so that you do not have to come into the store until your bike is polished, shiny, and ready to hit the roads again. While we take care of your bike, take care of yourself!
By signing up you are signing a waiver to OK a Basic Tune Up on your bicycle ($95 in labor, and up to $30 in parts). We will contact you in the case that your bike needs a little more love than originally anticipated. If you want to go the extra mile or know that your bike needs a lot of love, you may sign up for a Major Bike Tune ($170 in labor, and up to $45 in parts). Again, we will notify you if there are any anticipated extra costs before beginning work on the bike.
Depending on the number of sign-ups, the turnaround time will vary. Priority will be based on the order of registration and immediacy of bike usage. We aim to complete most of the tune-ups in the first two weeks after you finish the ride. If you are in no rush to get your bike back, let us know so that we can help get other bikes done first. If you are interested in the Bike Fit please contact the store directly and speak with our Bike Department.
Note that this offer is exclusively for the San Francisco Bryant Street location, as the bikes are stored there.
