Alan Fleishman discusses his latest novel Lara's Shadow. Set in post-World War II Germany Lara's Shadow tells the story of Eli Schneider, a young Jewish-American army officer who finds himself in perplexing territory after he falls deeply in love with a German woman. Alan's event will also feature a multimedia presentation which offers the historical background upon which the novel is based, with particular emphasis on the critical year of 1963.
