The Alamo Square Flea Market first began in the early 1980s, and has grown into a large event that brings over 100 vendors to the park each year. Over the years the merchants have evolved from locals hosting garage sales to more professional vendors, who sell vintage clothes, antique furniture, jewelry, crafts, books and more.
In recent years, the Flea Market has been held in conjunction with Western Addition Sunday Streets, bringing families, live music and activities to the neighborhood.
