Alameda Island Poets and Writers presents recipient of the 10th Annual Berkeley Poetry Festival Lifetime Achievement Award, Clive Matson, whose first collection of poems Mainline to the Heart was published by the legendary Diane di Prima. Joining Clive is essayist, poet, editor, voice of the popular blog "Writing around the Bay," and author of the collection Fracas & Asylum, Zara Raab. This event will be hosted by Nanette Bradley Deetz and open mic will follow Clive and Zara's readings.
