Temple Israel of Alameda presents the return of the popular Annual Holiday Fest shopping expo on Sunday, December 3, 2023, from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., in Alameda. The event is free to attend and features dozens of local vendors.
This event features small business owners and local artists selling a variety of gift-giving options to complete your holiday shopping in one spot while keeping your money in the local economy. Items include apparel, artwork, confections, books by local authors, fused glass, gift cards, greeting cards, honey, jam, jewelry, soap, Judaica items, knitwear, stuffies, plants, purses, and tote bags with more being confirmed.
"My shopping list is ready for this event," says Temple Israel President, Kimberlee MacVicar, "I absolutely love this event and seeing the beautiful artistry of some very creative people."
Temple Israel is located at 3183 Mecartney Road, in the Harbor Bay Isle section of Alameda. Free parking. Lunch and breakfast options are available in the Gather & Grub-run Cafe, plus a bake sale to tempt your sweet tooth.
"We are excited to offer this beloved holiday shopping event once again to help people complete their shopping needs and local artists find new customers," says Temple Israel's Fundraising & Events Chair, Jen Bregman Forshaw. "People start asking us when this event will happen back in July!"
