We are pleased to host this documentary and discussion with filmmaker, Connie Field (Have You Heard About Johannesburg) and Dr. Clay Carson, Stanford professor and playwright. As Carson's play about King was produced by the Palestinian National Theatre with an African-American gospel choir convened for the project, Field's film catches the dynamic tension between the performers amidst the hardships of Palestinian life in the West Bank. No one who participated remained unchanged.
The film is a moving tribute to nonviolent resistance, cultural exchange and understanding. This program is a fundraiser for the Center for Jewish Nonviolence,
